Huchen fishing is only permitted in pairs, with both anglers fishing on the same bank and within sight of each other. At least one of the anglers must be a member of the RD Medvode Fishing Association. If you do not have a member to accompany you, please contact info@ribiskekarte.si. RD Medvode members must carry a valid membership card while fishing.

  • Allowed catch (ATTENTION: it is necessary to consider the minimal length and the fishing season for each individual species!) A maximum of one Huchen may be kept per member per season (1 October – 14 February), subject to the overall catch quota. Any retained Huchen must be reported immediately to the secretary of RD Medvode at +386 31 80 50 59, who will provide further instructions.

  • Restrictions
    Only artificial lures with a minimum length of 10 cm are permitted. For spinners, a minimum size of 5 according to the Mepps sizing system is required. A monofilament fishing line with a minimum diameter of 0.40 mm or an equivalent braided line must be used. A maximum of three hooks per lure is permitted, whether single, double or treble hooks.
